The 80th Anniversary is now well and truly started and hopefully now everyone has AND IS WEARING their Anniversary badge. The Anniversary Dinner is on the 19th October at the Stormont Hotel and if you have not yet booked your place do so now for what promises to be a night of celebration, good food and plenty of East "craic". All current and past members of the District will be most welcome.

The District Chaplin, Rev. Francy McCrea will host the 80th Anniversary "Thanksgiving" Service at St Brendan’s on Sunday 21st November. We hope that as many as possible of the present and past Leaders and lay members of East will attend the Service and we would be delighted to see two or three uniformed Cubs, Scouts or Explorers represent their Groups/Units at this Service.
